Also known as… GREASING THE GEARS

Hey friends, Coach B here.

We all want superhuman results with half the effort.

Time is a precious commodity and life can be hectic.

Things do not always go as planned.

However, this doesn’t mean you need to skip training entirely.

Many of us are locked in to the belief that we have to do a full workout or crazy training to get results. At times this means we don’t work out at all as we cannot follow through based on our schedule or lifestyle.

But it ain’t so.

The demands you make with consistent effort on your body, force your body to adapt.

It need not be ALL OR NOTHING!

Even small efforts help, and something is better than nothing.

Force your body to do little things that will slowly give you results.

·       A few squats in the bathroom before you get in the shower.

·       Pop out a few sit-ups before you leap out of bed.

·       A couple of push ups against the counter in between dishes or while cooking.

·       Do a little shadow boxing during your outfit check in front of the mirror.

·       Long hallway ahead, do some walking lunges.

·       Waiting for the public transport, find a wall and do a wall sit.

·       Getting off the couch, do a few tricep dips first.

·       Trying to master a new kettlebell weight or movement, leave it by the door and do a few reps before leaving and upon entering.

·       Take the damn stairs.

·       Carry a stress ball and work your grip strength.

·       Practice holding your breath for deep long periods to engage the lymph system & cleanse toxins from your body.

·       Massage the area around your eyes to relieve stress & tension.

·       Take moments of mindfulness and be aware your body and surroundings.

DISCLAIMER: do not practice weilding or throwing bladed weapons in public :)

Be a sneaky little ninja with multiple “mini workouts” throughout your day.

Keep your body adapting and guessing.

We call this GREASING THE GEARS.

You grease the gears of your muscle memory and mind-muscle connection which allow for more natural, safe and effective movements.

You slowly convince your body that all these things are little demands that are now a part of your day-to-day existence and not a once to three times a week event.

Try it out, it works.

Need help, send me your questions.

Stay awesome. Be a ninja.

Live strong.

Love stronger.

Coach B
